Merry Christmas everyone 🙂 Enjoy the festivities with friends and relatives and hopefully you have plenty of books under the tree. Thanks to all of you Bingereader had a great first year. Wishing you all a wonderful 2015 and the first presie of the day is a wonderful poem by Emily Dickinson about something that we all seem to love unequivocally.
A Book
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!
I know that one of my Christmas presents is a road atlas. I love maps and read them like books so I guess that counts? Warm greetings to you and yours Sabine.
Road atlas is close enough 😉 I can’t read maps – not for the life of me – so I admire you deeply …
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, too! Looking forward to the next year with lots of new books to discover and be told about!
